So you’ve just come though a divorce and the only thing he left you with is a name you don’t want.

The good news is you only need your Birth Certificate and either your Certificate of Marriage or Certificate of Divorce to start changing your name.  You will not need any other legal documentation.  You can revert to your maiden name on your driver’s license, passport, Medicare and on all your accounts straight away - you don’t need to wait for your divorce papers to come through.

Think about all the accounts you have under your married name - there are probably about 30 or so.  Utilities, bank accounts, superannuation, the list goes on.  That’s where we come in and help you notify relevant companies of your maiden name change.
